Twick or Tweet: Halloween Fun For Everyone

Hello all!

Hope you've had a nice weekend! We made a quick trip to San Antonio this weekend with our daughter. The weather was a bit dreary, but it was nice to get away. Enjoyed brunch at Mi Tiera in the Market Square...yum! Don't miss it if you are ever in the area!

I'd like to share the projects we made at my Kids' Halloween Class this evening.

The pumpkin basket made with the Big Shot and the Pillow Box Die is just darling and the tutorial is available at Splitcoaststampers by Lynn Put. The "boo" Box is a 2,4,6,8 box and card is a shaker card using beads and a Sweet Treat Cup from the Holiday Mini.
Here's a close up...
I love working up these fun projects for kids and their moms to create. It's great to see them work as a team!
Have a great week!--Lisa

Inklings:
  • For a 2,4,6,8 box: Cut a piece of cardstock in half so that it measures 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. Score on the the long side at 2, 4,6, and 8 inches. Then turn the CS and score at 2". Fold and crease on all score lines. Cut off the tiny rectangle formed by the 8" score intersection and then cut on each of the folds from the bottom up to the 2" fold line forming tabs that you can tape to adhere the box together. Clear as mud?? e-mail me :)
  • Watercolor pencils are great to use with kids! Blender pens help to spread the color to fill in the image.
