Hi everyone! Happy Saturday to you!
Today, my hubby and I celebrate 34 years of marriage! It's been a great journey filled with ups and downs and lots of joy! I was 18; he was 21...so many wonderful memories!
Just wanted to post this little butterfly box that I made with my Big Shot. LOVE my Big Shot! This would be a perfect little box for some chocolate or any little gift. First, I stamped the En Francais Background Stamp with Cameo Coral Classic Ink onto Cameo Coral CS before cutting with my Matchbox Die. This little box assembles quickly...no adhesive needed!
Using En Francais again, I stamped with VersaMark onto Autumn Traditions DSP then embossed with White Embossing Powder. I then used my Bigz Beautiful Butterflies Die to cut two butterflies. I wanted to distress a bit ( Have you noticed I've been on the distressing kick lately...love it!) and sponged some Cameo Coral and Ruby Red onto the butterflies. Inked the edges with a sponge dauber and Soft Suede Ink.
I adhered the two butterflies together with 2 stacked Dimensionals, ran my Two Way Glue Pen around the edges and sprinkled on some Dazzling Diamonds. Finished it with So Saffron Button and Linen Thread and two So Saffron CS antennae before adhering to the matchbox.
Made two of these for my Club Hostesses this month!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!---Lisa :)
