I was so happy to get my Bigz XL Pennant Die from SU! last week! Here is my first card using this die with my Big Shot. Now, I have to admit, I AM obsessed with the lollipop flowers...so here is another creation using one as an accent. I know these are really spring-like colors for this time of year, but I was wanting to use my Pretty in Pink Taffeta Ribbon and my Parisian Summer DSP, too!
This card has one pennant going across the bottom and one up the left side. The In Color cardstock I used is from the 12 x 12 textured assorted package. It is so beautiful. Really adds a richness to cards, I think. The scallop behind the flower is also cut from the pennant die and inked using DTP (direct to paper) technique to provide contrast between it and the pennant piece.
