Stampin' Up! Beautiful Wings

Hi everyone!
What a cold week for the country! Today I have a project that evokes a bit of spring with ...butterflies! These fluttering creatures were cut with the new Embosslits Die in the Occasions Mini, Beautiful Wings. This baby cuts and embosses 4 different butterflies...there are two smaller than these used here---so cute!
The base is Chocolate Chip stamped in Chocolate Chip Craft ink with the Woodgrain background stamp and then embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. Designer paper is from the Sweet Pea Stack. The butterflies are adhered to a Medium Window Sheet circle cut with the Circle Scissors Plus and stamped with the little bloom from "With All My Heart"(White Stazon). Chit Chat Rub On was applied to a Modern Label punched from a Window Sheet and secured with a Pumpkin Pie brad from the Flower Assortment. White Faux stitching and Pumpkin Pie Striped Grosgrain completes the project.
Need any of the supplies for this project? This embosslit is a "must - have" for your Big Shot!

Inklings:
  • I sponged the edge of my circle with White Stazon to make it stand out from the background.
  • I adhered the circle to the background with Mini Glue Dots with part of the circle extending over the edge of the card. Then, I trimmed it with Paper Snips to give it the straight edge.
