LSC236 Autumn Moon Scrapling

How about this? What a wonderful way to use your scraps! I had been working on a project using To the Nines Specialty Designer Paper and decided to use a left over scrap for this week's Limited Supply Challenge on SCS...to make a scrapling!
The finished size is 4 x 1.5 ...a tiny base to work with but lots of fun! I've also used Autumn Tradtions DSP as well as the Autum Days stamp set. I stamped the leaf from this set in Soft Suede then used the NEW Shimmer Paint in Champagne Mist (116806)from the Holiday Mini on a sponge dauber to add a bit of sparkle. Love that shimmer!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you'll create some of these using your scraps...give it a try!--Lisa
Inklings:
  • Sponging helps to soften bold colors if you find your paper is a little too bright for the "mood" of your card. I've used Soft Suede over the leaf pattern of this designer paper and over the Crushed Curry moon.

  • To get the reverse side of the Soft Suede Polka Dot grosgrain, I just twist as I tie to get the look I want. It's like having two ribbons in one...thanks, Stampin' Up!

I'm loving the concept of using your scraps to make these little gems, but I have to ask - what do you use these for?
