Home Again!! & It's Still Winter

First things first!---we are finally home from the hospital and my dear husband is doing fine! It was a tough journey but through faith and prayers of many, he is well on the road to full recovery! Thanks to all of you!

Sharon Johnson's challenge this week is to create a simple winter card and itjust so happens that I had made a card to fit this challenge between our first and second trips to the hospital! All supplies here are from Stampin' Up!

This card's base is Ruby Red and the accent strip is from Holiday Treasures DSP. I applied the sentiment from the Old Saint Nick Rub-Ons Collection and used a snowflake from Little Felt Flurries with a Ruby Red Brad in the center. That rich chocolate ribbon is from the Alpine Ribbon Originals Collection from the Holiday Mini and available only until January 31st! Simple, quick and fun to make....gotta love those rub ons.

Thanks for checking in today! I hope to "catch up" on my stamping projects this weekend!

First of all, I am so glad to read that your DH is home and doing well. I have been a bad blog reader and have fallen so far behind. I had to scan WAY back to find out when he first went in -- oh my, this HAS been a long haul for you both -- praying it is now totally resolved!!! Now, on to the card -- totally fabulous!!!! Love your colors, paper and the fun ribbon (that I really should get)!!! So glad you could play -- thank you so much!!! (Could I have your address? -- you could email me if you like
