Fabulous Friday: Back to School with Stampin' Up!

Today is the first time in 48 years that won't be my First Day of School. I retired after 31 years of teaching in May of this year and the teachers and staff of my former school district start back today. Quite a change but one I embrace with enthusiasm. After all, I am still teaching others, like you, to discover their creativity and expand their knowledge of paper and digital crafting. Thanks for continuing on this journey with me.

Now for today's Back to School card, dedicated to my former colleagues and students and to you...

Love this new Greeting Card Kids set from the Idea Book and Catalog. I was so excited to see these "begging to be colored" images for four different occasions---so versatile!
I stamped the image in Black Stazon on Watercolor Paper and colored the image with a variety of Stampin' Write Markers. (Talk about feeling like I'm back in school!) The base is textured Pacific Point cardstock with layers of Real Red and Daffodil Delight. The bottom border consists of "abc's" from Defining Alphabet in Pacific Point. This is a beautiful alphabet! I aligned each of the images with the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig...it is SO worth the time it takes to use this awesome positioning tool!

Wishing the best to all returning students and teachers! Carpe Diem!

Best wishes to all those going "back to school"!--Lisa :)
