SC248 Autumn Birthday

Hello friends!
I needed to make a birthday card last night and it is SO much easier to start with a sketch, so I headed over to SCS to check out the Sketch Challenge for the week. Can you tell how much I love the Autumn Meadows Designer Series Paper from the Holiday Mini? ...and paired with those beautiful leaves from the Autumn Splendor set---just love it! All paper was sponged with Chocolate Chip Classic ink to give that "finished" look and tie all the elements together.
The leaves were stamped with Chocolate Chip Craft ink on the desginer paper and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. I then dabbed Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint on the leaves to give it some sparkle. This is a great medium to give your cards and projects that special touch. Look for the Shimmer Paint and other supplies in this project here on my website.

All supplies from Stampin' Up!

Stamps: Autumn Splendor, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Choc Chip and Taken with Teal CS, Autumn Splendor DSP
Ink: Choc Chip Craft and Classic Ink
Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder, Wor Window and Modern Label Punches, 1/4" Choc Chip Grosgrain, Stampin' Sponges, Stampin' Dimension

Inklings:
  • Sponging is a great way to give your cards a special, rich look. After inking your sponge, start by placing it just off the cardstock or designer paper and with a circular, light-handed motion, work your way onto the piece.
  • Trying stamping on Designer Paper for a unique look!
