Hello everyone!
Just wanted to share this one layer card as inspired by Kristina Werner on her blog this week. The base is Kraft cardstock---such a great neutral!!---and the images are from the beautiful Autumn Splendor (116503) stamp set in the Holiday Mini by Stampin' Up! I used craft ink in Chocolate Chip, Really Rust, and More Mustard and clear embossed the latter two colors just to give the card some interest and a little texture. I used my Chocolate Chip Stampin' Write Marker to create the faux stitching around the leaves, rounded two of the card edges, and sponged all around the card base with Chocolate Chip Classic Ink. The sentiment is from Autumn Harvest Rub Ons. All supplies from Stampin' Up!
Inklings:
- Craft ink is wonderful for getting colored, embossed images. I have the Craft Stampin' Spots and refills and love them! The spots are little ink pads that come in the four sets of Stampin' Up!'s color families; set of 12 for $25.95: Earth Elements (105438), Rich Regals (105437), Bold Brights (105439), and Soft Subtles(105370) To order, visit my website and click on Shop Now.
- Try sponging the edges of your cards when you need just a little something more. It can really help give your cards that finished look.
Thanks for stopping by...have a great weekend!---Lisa
